Blood, Jaws, and Crosses- What do they Have in Common?

August 23, 2008

Jaws, Blood, and Crosses at Lake Chapala– Ajijic Mexico !

What Do They Have in Common ?

No, Lake Chapala doesn’t have a big shark called “Jaws” . In fact to the best of my knowledge it doesn’t have any sharks at all.

While Blood and Crosses are symbols in some religions this is not the connection I’m referring to either.

OK, give up? Here’s the connection. These are all terms you might hear around the Cruz Roja (Red Cross) Chapala Delegation.

The “Cruz Roja” Chapala Delegation wants your Blood and Your Money… or at least some of it.  You see this Non Profit group runs the local ambulance service and they need donations of money (see more below) …

and they also are interested in having a list of blood donors so that when you or your loved one are in need of emergency blood it will be available.

The paramedic crews also have access to the “jaws of life”  which can chew open crashed cars to extract victims so they can receive proper medical attention.

So, click on the link below to get all the information …..and give generously. The Life you will be helping to save “May Be Your Own”.

By the way, Cruz Roja now has the ability to offer Americans, Canadians and Mexicans tax deductible receipts for donations made to the Cruz Roja Delegacion Lago de Chapala using your American, Canadian, or Mexican credit cards.

You will receive a receipt on the web for your donation.

OK, Here’s the link as promised.
