Chapala Hacindas Tour – Video 1 & 2

Chapala Haciendas is just 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) North of Chapala on the highway to Guadalajara.

As you will see in the videos it has lots of trees and has the feel of a rural community, but yet is just 5 minutes from the commercial and banking center of Lake Chapala (Chapala) and is 20 minutes to the International airport, 10 minutes to Ajijic (upscale restaurants, quaint shops, etc.) and only 45 minutes to Guadalajara (the second largest city in Mexico).

Come take a look. Chapala Haciendas is experiecing a rebirth the last few years as a number of new homes have been built, the home owners association has exactly one member who has been on the board over 1 year (me).

With the new residents and new board a new chapter in Chapala Haciendas is beginning.

Over the last few years under the previous board and continuing with the new board we have made the following improvements:

Hacienda home

A new house and lot numbering plan to make it easy for police, fire, ambulance and guests to find our homes in our winding up and down rambling neighborhood

New street signs identify clearly all the streets new water system for distributing our good quality deep well water area homes

New entrance signs at our two main entrance

New maintance personnel

New truck and other new equipment

A switch to the low wattage energy saver bulbs for street lights

New crime watch group (our crime is low and we want to keep it that way)

Future plans call for a Chapala Haciendas website, continued improvements to our water delivery system, new and improved Association By-Laws, and the development of a Five Year Plan.

I hope you enjoy the video tour of our beautiful and convenient neighborhood.
