lines only not nearly so nice.

I’d rather over state the cost of living than understate it. This way people if they can live on less
here are pleasantly surprised than the other way around.

My police officer background taught me to put up with a lot of verbal abuse without over reacting.

I am truly shocked at the way this “doctor” posted to you Sid!
I have done my own calculations and arrived at the same numbers you gave and would not be living any differently than I am here and we don’t live like Kings here – we have what we refer here to as a comfortable lifestyle. As you said everyone has a different idea of what constitutes “living in luxury”.

We all appreciate the work you do and the information you give Sid.

Hi Danny, Thanks for your post. Yes, I enjoyed the humming bird video.Thanks for sending it. The humming birds are very common here. We see them in our garden frequently.

Glad you enjoyed the art show video, We’re blessed with many artists in our area plus many come from all over Mexico at least once a year.

Hi Bob, Glad you can live for even much less than $2124 per month.

The article was written back in 2008 and “quoted” International Living magazine. These were not numbers I personally calculated so if you have a quarrel with the numbers you should direct your inquires to them, not me.

One person’s idea of luxury of course is not the same as another persons idea.

Perhaps others who see our posts can respond with their own ideas about the cost of living here. Again, I think this is very subjective.

100% of all your cost of living information is false and misleading. I’m a medical doctor and I and my wife live like a King and Queen easily on less than half of your false and misleading cost of living information in the Chapala area and so do all of our friends. Based on your false and misleading information, it’s clear that you have no real basic knowledge about the true cost of living in the Chapala area. We recommend that you give some thought to having a mental examination and we encourage you to start thinking about finding a nice Mexican nursing home or assisted living home in Mexico and stop attempting to give people your false and misleading advice and information. You have no idea what you are talking about today and you are only making a complete fool out of yourself.
