What is a “Mind Masquerade” ?

October 9, 2008

Have you read any great poetry lately? If your answer is ‘no‘, or ’ I’m really not much of a poetry fan’, then you should read the rest of this article.

I confess poetry is not my favorite thing to read… but that was before I read poetry by Shirley Hale. (‘Mind Masquerade’ and ‘To Touch Another’)

Shirley writes of life, of love and of laughter . . . filling page after page with poetry everyone of us can relate to (even those among us who are not usually poetry fans).

Her first book signing was very successful and another is in the planning stages now, so watch this website for more information.

Shirley’s first two books are available here in Lake Chapala – Ajijic area at the Bougambilias Book Store and also Smokies in the Plaza Bougambilias in Ajijic.

Shirley retired to Mexico 4 years ago and resides in Roca Azul on the West end of Lake Chapala, just outside the village of Jocotepec.

Lately she’s turned her talents to short stories and is currently putting together a compilation of short stories for her next book.

If you’re reading this from the U.S., Canada or Europe  you can order her books online at any of the dot-com bookstores or ask for them at your local bookstore.
