Hi Thomas, Thanks for your post. The easiest way to get your insurance is to
call the Great Berg PArker agency and give them your information over the
telephone and a crdit card number. They’ll charge your card and send you the policy.

I just provide ChapalaCLub members with lots of great information about the area, trusted vendors and my own Exclusive Buyer’s Only Realtor Services.

Let me know when I can help more.

    Tu amigo, Sid

I bought a KIA 2005 down from TX two years ago. I drove it back to TX last week to trade it in on a SUV to bring down to Ajijic. With all the car types and tag problems, my question is “Can I bring a 2008 Honda CR-VEX-L with the vin # starting with a “JHlRE38….”? I was to buy it this week! Deena M

    Hi Deena,

As far as I know ANY Brand car can be brought into Mexico, but you’re limited to one car. You likely will have some major problems if you did not properly check your KIA 2005 out of Mexcio. This is a serious matter to the Mexican government. Just one vehicle at a time. There are some changes connected with the new Visas.

If I understand them correctly, Permanent residents (with that status) canonly have Mexican plated cars in Mexico. Hope this helps.
