Hi Ted and Dona, Thanks for your post. I must have been asleep at the switch the day of the airshow because I missed it. Glad there were a lot of folks who videoed it for the rest of us.

Speaking of videos I'm studying now how to make even better videos than the ones I've made before.

If things go well, I will have my own branded player, but will continue to put them up on You Tube so they can reach more people.

I hope to do many more Interviews of local merchants, retirees and videos of the different developments to give our members the feel of the various areas around the lake.

Thanks very much for your nice words. Siempre tu amigo, Sid

Hello, Sid,

We enjoy your posts, articles, and videos. We spent a week in Ajijic two summers ago and fell love with the area. Now, we're both retired and planning to spend 5 months there---from June 15h - Nov. 25th. We found a great 2 bedrm/2 bath home in Chapala Haciendas through the Lake Chapala Society classifies. For now, we're keeping our home in Texas with the possibility of buying property later on.

In one of your articles you mentioned that cell phones don't work once you cross the border but that you have Verizon which does work. We have Sprint and they offer an international plan but you have to pay a high roaming change to use the service.
Is the same true for Verizon? (Actually, in our area it's now Altel.) Do you pay roaming rate for calls to the states? How about inside Mexico?

We'll be contacting you again before we travel for you to pray for our protection and safe trip to Chapala/Ajijic as you offered to do in one of your posts. You do a great job on your website, by the way. We really enjoy receiving it.

We'd appreciate your guidance on our cell phone question and look forward to meeting you.
