Yes, We do have Bananas … and Avocados, Oranges, Limes, Mangos… and a lot more at Lake Chapala Ajijic Mexico.
If you’re from California or Florida then this article will not mean as much to you as to the rest of the USA and our Canadian readers, but please read on anyway as there’s good stuff in this article for you too.
Why is that? Well I still get a thrill at going out into the garden and picking all of the above fruit right off the tree.
My garden (we call a yard a garden here as it is usually much more than a yard…or just grass ) has areas filled with fruit trees and beautiful flowers of all descriptions has a variety of fruit trees and beautiful exotic flowers.
Now, if you have a BLACK THUMB, don’t worry as your gardener no doubt will have a very Green Thumb on his well tanned brown hand and will know just what to do to keep you in fruit.
And, if you choose a property with a garden too small for trees that’s fine also because the local fruit and veggie stands sell an amazing variety of all of the above and a lot more for a small fraction of what they cost up North or even in California or Florida… well apples imported from the states are a bit more.
And if you’re environmentally aware as more and more of us these days are; you will be pleased to know that much of our fruit and veggies are locally grown not far away… so the carbon footprint of getting them to market is not that high.
We have huge raspberry farms right here at Lake Chapala predictably raspberries are available from local folks at very low prices fresh from the farm.
So, if you would enjoy eating good fresh foods with some right out of your own garden or from nearby farms just add this to your list of one more good reason to come down and give our area the once or twice over.
I think you’re gonna like what you see, and even more what you taste.
For better living, better health, and more fun… (a lot more fun) give me a call or send me an e mail to learn more about any aspect of living here at beautiful, affordable, and delicious Lake Chapala Ajijic., Mexico that is of particular interest to you.

Best to do it now, because I don’t want you to get sidetracked and forget to take that all important first step to a whole new life of health, vitality and fun.
Siempre tu amigo, Sid
