Hi Nancy, I'll do my best to talk with Gudrun and find a time in our schedules to do a video of her Dog Ranch. I must tell you however in honesty it will be a while before I can pull it off, but will make it happen as soon as I can.

Siempre tu amigo, Sid

Hi Sid,

i would also like to see a video of Gudrun's ranch. i can't even begin to imagine life without my 2 "kids", one a dachshund and the other a doxie Chihuahua mix, also known as a doxie-hua-hua. as soon as i can dis-encumber myself of my job i plan to move to Chapala/Ajijic and will hopefuly be accepted as a volunteer at Gudrun's ranch. mucho gracias

Hi Joan, That sounds like a good project. I don't want to promise to do it because both Gudrun and I have busy schedules, but I do think it would be fun to do and informative.

So, I'll put it under consideration at this point. Let's see how many of our readers would like to see a video of Gudrun's Dog Ranch?

Add a comment here or drop me an e mail to Sid@ChapalaClub.com if you like to see a video of the Dog Ranch.

Thanks Joan. Let's see what kind of response we get. Siempre tu amigo, Sid

Me again...

Could you do a feature video of Gudrun Jones' ranch - actually video the ranch and the dogs themselves and let us see what the ranch is all about. I think that would be wonderful

Thanks Ruth, Always good to hear from you. Many years ago in Guad. at the Indeopendence celebration I was with a lady and a spark fell into her hair and her began to burn. I beat it out with my cap and she had a "Mexican War Story" to tell her friends. Sid

Thanks, Sid, for both of those articles today! While I live in the city in an apartment in the USA I can't have a dog but my daughter had 3, 2 of them have since died. My daughter was never able to have children but did she love her dogs!

One year we experienced 9/15 in Queretaro, MX and almost got trampled to death, seriously, at the celebration. What a night and the next day too. It was wall to wall bodies in the center and after "the shout" and the fireworks started all around the perimeter, I couldn't believe how everyone squeezed even more to avoid the sparks. Then leaving, our party was all holding hands so tight so we wouldn't get separated. It is an experience I will never forget. We made some wonderful Mexican friends that week.

Just wanted to say thanks again.
