What’s Sid’s Favorite Mom & Pop Lake Chapala Restaurant?

Well, Glad you asked. It’s not an easy choice and there are many close second’s but I have to say Jose’s Place.

Here’s why? The food is always great and the prices are always reasonable… sort of like almost everything else here at Lake Chapala Ajijic.

Take  just 3.53 minutes from your busy schedule and enjoy the below video.

The menu prices are of course in pesos so you need to divide by the current exchange rate which is usually about 12 to one … so a 60 peso meal is really $4.80 and that includes the 16 % tax.

Oh, before I forget, if you listen closely to the background sounds you will hear repeated chirp sounds… yes, this is the local bird population welcoming you to the area.
