What’s a Back Up Bear

…. and why we want to be yours?

Take just    minutes to discover just what a Back Up Bear is by watching the below video and then read on below to see just why the Dream Team here at www.ChapalaClub.com want to be yours.

The business world can be a jungle sometimes … and business at Lake Chapala Ajijic, Mexico (like buying a home for example) can be a jungle of new rules, laws, and well frankly a few wild cats looking for their next meal.

That’s where our Dream Team Buyers Only Realtors  come into play to be your Back Up Bear to guide you through the process of exploring the Lake Chapala Ajijic area.

Don’t wait until you meet trouble to call on us like baby bear did in the video. We don’t want you to have close calls like that.

Much better to let one of our dream team Exclusive Buyers Only Realtor members walk with you through the jungle until you know all the paths and just where they lead.

We promise not to lick you in the face, but to be with you every step of the way, answering your questions and guiding you along the best paths to accomplish your goals.

And, we’re not fair weather friends who will abandon you after the sale… no, we will always be there, like your “mother bear”, near enough to hear your call when you need us.

Hola! A friend of my husband sent him that video. It is so fantastic. I have not made any comments lately for several reasons. For one thing it has been so hot and humid here in Texas that I can hardly think. Plus you know my situation. I would be there if I could. Keep up the great work because I read them all. Betty

Hi Betty, Thanks for your regular comments. You keep Reading and I’ll keep publishing. Deal?

Hi Sid, The Lake Chapala area may be safe enough but what about the driving over the border crossing and down through Mexico to get there. I don’t want to fly because of aversions to Homeland Security, TSA and THAT mess.

Are there any tips that you can recommend. What about the safety issue near the border. What documentation do I need to drive my pickup truck over the border. And would my suitcases and ‘stuff’ be safe in an open pickup truck bed?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Rix,

Most people drive the toll road route to Lake Chapala. Not sure which point of entry you would take from where you are in the USA. Many people find that crossing at Laredo is good. Just use common sense.

Here a link to an article I wrote a while back I think will be helpful. http://tinyurl.com/2exxkpb

The vehicle must be in your name. You will need a valid driver’s license and insurance for Mexico.

If there’s a lien on the vehicle you will need permission from the lien holder in writing and Notarized allowing you to bring the vehicle into Mexico.

No, I would not leave suitcases in the truck bed unless I was with the truck. Perhaps a lockable box secured to the truck bed or inside the cab. Some motels have enclosed garages whihc you can park in at night and they are very secure.

Use a Gui Rogi map for the best road atlas which are available on line. A bit expensive but the most up to date maps available.

    Hope this helps. Sid
