Be Ready to Save a Life at Lake Chapala or Anywhere

June 15, 2011

Hi everyone, This article and video are not specific to Lake Chapala.
I do my best to stay on the topic I love which is sharing the good news about our safe, beautiful, and affordable area.
Once in while I find content so compelling that I just want to share it with everyone. This is one of those times. I apologize in advance to anyone who is disappointed that this article in not exclusively about living here at Lake Chapala.
I’d really appreciate feedback below if once in a while I send you something not directly related to our area.  Depending upon the response I get I’ll continue to send the occasional off topic article or not.
The below video was especially of interest to me as I’ve saved two lives myself using CPR. Once, as a police officer responding to a call, and once when my own Dad collapsed. I sure was glad I had the proper training. Here’s the latest training in the below video.

I think this was an excellent topic Sid – I took CPR many years ago and I do need a refresher course – the thought of someone having a heart attack amongst other things and not being able to help for me would be a devastating experience. This is the kind of information I think we all need to be reminded of and shown.
Thanks Sid – please bring on more of the same!

I thought that was a great video on CPR. I, like most people, never cared for the mouth to mouth method. This I can handle. Appreciate your sending it out. I always enjoy your posts.
