Are You Having Fun Yet? If You Live at Lake Chapala You Are!

October 8, 2011

There is a wide variety of retired, semi retired, and barely retired Ex Pats living here at Lake Chapala, Mexico.

We’re beginning to get more families with kids retiring here and each year the retirees look younger and younger to me. Well, I did just celebrate the Big 70, so I guess retirees are supposed to look young.

My philosophy is “Forever Young”. I like to think I’m getting wiser more quickly than I’m getting older.

I have retiree friends here in their early 40’s all the way up to mid nineties. I’ve heard a few folks say that we have a lot of “old people here”.

I tactfully ask them to look beyond the physical appearance and they’ll discover that most of them are forever young, active in mind and body, like my mid nineties retired friend who still drives (just not at night), plays and teaches bridge, and has an active lifestyle, and the best part is she has for over 35 years here.

She’s an inspiration to us all… and she’s not the only one.

So, look at the videos posted below to see Retiree Expats of all ages having fun in the sun here at safe, beautiful, and very affordable Lake Chapala, Mexico.

Remember, our team of Buyer’s Only Exclusive Realtors are ready to help.

We don’t accept listings and never represent the sellers, because our loyalties are to you, the potential buyer. We continue to help after the sale and are a continuing source of information and advice. That';s what friends are for, right?

We’re ready when you are. Send me an e-mail and let’s get started. Just put “READY” as the subject line because I want to find your email fast and answer it right away.

Now, enjoy the three videos below.

Tell us in the comments section which of them you liked best.

I loved viewing all three…thank-you for sharing…the one I found most entertaining was the lip sync!!! Does this event happen on a regular basis….if so… at what time of the year?

Hi Marie, Thanks for your comments.

I don;t think the particular event happens on a frequent basis, but there’s always something happening in our area that’s entertaining and fun to do or participate i.

There are a lot of retired musicians here, Karaoke is a weekly event at one of our Restaurants, and of course there’s the Lakeside Little Theater group etc. etc.

Come down and join the fun. Tu amigo, Sid
