Kayak Club Paddle at Lake Chapala

April 18, 2012

The Kayak Club at Lake Chapala had an open invitational kayak tour Sunday April 15th 2012 from San Juan Cosala Malecon to La Tasca Restaurant, Ajijic.

Members and supporters of the Kayak Club had Lunch at La Tasca Restaurant at 12 noon to 3 PM and watched the kayaks come in.

The paddlers will meet at La Tasca 9AM to load the kayaks, and transport them to San Juan Cosala Malecon and launch at about 10:30 AM. The trip was estimated to take, depending on the wind 3 to 4 hours of paddling. That’s a lot of paddling.

La Tasca restaurant is located on Lake Chapala and is known for its sunset dinners by the lake and beautiful lake view.

La Tasca Restaurant owner Roberto Cerda helps the Lake Chapala Kayak Club by allowing the club to store the kayaks on their lake front property in exchange for the club having its weekly Thursday 12 noon lunch.

By having lunch at La Tasca Restaurant you are supporting the KAYAK CLUB too.

Now enjoy the short video of some of the club members arriving by Kayak at La Tasca in Ajijic after hours of paddling.
