No, the Dream Life we live here at Lake Chapala is not over and there's no nightmare beginning here. So what's the title for then?

It's the title of a wonderful new book by Lake Chapala author Gudrun Z. Jones. Gudrun and her husband Dryden are dear friends of mine, but that's not why I'm telling you about her new book.

From all accounts her book is destined to be a best seller given that the book has received rave 4 and 5 star reviews on Amazon.com from her readers.

The reviewers say things like, "i culdn't put this book down…" and  "I did not want this book to end…."

Gudrun is an example of the kind of talented and interesting people who call Lake Chapala home.

Our area is briming over with talented people, from all over the world, like Gudrun. They they inspire the rest of us to do what we can to make a difference, to explore our talents whether it be in writing, painting, music, little theater or any of the other invigorating things there are to do here.

What, what's that you say? You don't have any talents. I doubt that. Just dig down a little and rekindle a dream you once had and I think you'll be amazed at the latent talent you have within you.

I just downloaded her book on my Kindle for the modest sum of $11.95 USD.

The paperback version sells for $19.95 plus shipping.

I can't wait to read "The Dream is Over, the Nightmare Begins" by my dear friend Gudrun Z. Jones who I feel privileged to know.

Just click www.Amazon.com and it will take you right to the book page on Amazon and take a look at what others are saying about "The Dream is Over, the Nightmare Begins".

    Hi Sid,
I downloaded Gudrun’s book to my Kindle and just finished reading it.  I posted to my Facebook account that it was a wonderful read.  I hope she will keep writing.  Sometime I would love to meet her.

HI Ruth, Thanks for your nice comment. I know Gudrun would be pleased. She runs a dog ranch near Chapala. I interviewed here a couple of years ago about her work to save orphaned dogs.

Check on line and you may find contact info for her or if she reads your post she may contact you. Tu amigo. Sid
