Music, Music, Music – 3 Fun Videos

August 1, 2012

Well, They say that music is the universal language and cuts across all cultural, racial, and ethnic boundaries.

That’s been my experience all my life. The drummer in a Rock and Roll Band I played in became the drummer in a Black Rock and Roll Band in the early 1960’s.

The schools were not even intergraded then.

Another Caucasian member of our group became a saxophone player in an all Latin dance band. He became a scientist.

The other group members found music jobs in other bands and I played cops and robbers (I was one of the cop good guys).

I still play my guitar for my own amusement and amazement.

See the horrible outtake of me playing at playing guitar below, but then scroll on down for a video of a local group called the “Tall Boys” who are all friends… and last but not least, check out a great jazz band, but even more important check out the audience.

The last video is definitely the most fun. What’s all this got to do with Lake Chapala?

Well, we’re a fun bunch of folks here and if you like any of these videos you’re gonna love Lake Chapala.

The music video’s were great.  The one with the cows was hilarious.  Can’t wait to get to Lake Chapala next summer and see what life is all about south of the border.
    Cheers, Karen
