Going Green at Lake Chapala

September 12, 2012

We go green here at Lake Chapala – Ajijic Mexico in many ways.

More and more we use reusable shopping bags or boxes, we eat more and better organically raised green veggies and the biggest green of all is our wonderful green summers (our rainy season) when the gardens, wild plants, and mountains come alive with GREEN.

Enjoy this wonderfully green video photographed by my friend Ron Jackson.

Now is a great time to visit as well, because it rarely rains during the day. We just get to wake up to a freshly washed green morning during our summer green period.

Siempre tu amigo, Sid

Sid, this was a beautiful start of my day in South Dakota. Thank you. What is the amazing music? Also, happy birthday (belated).

HI Judy, Thanks for the Birthday Wishes, Right on time.  NOt sure just where Ron found the great music he added as background for his wonderful slide show.. This is my favorite time of the year here when everywhere you look there’s lush greenery.

Never visited South Dakota, but at some point I want to go to all the States I’ve missed so far. Just spent most of a month in Colorado an dit to comes alive this time of year, but then of course the suffer through the snow and ice which we fortunately avoid here.

Thanks again for taking time to write us.
