Who Is Tony Rambles & Why Should You Care?

November 14, 2012

Hi Everyone,

So far I’ve only met Tony by e mail, but I feel like I know him. That’s because I read his first book, Laguna Tales. It can be read in bite size bits as no one story is overly long, but the characters are so lifelike that you almost feel like you could reach and out and touch them and you want to know more… so you keep reading.

I admit, other than science fiction, I’m not much of a fiction reader. But, I sure enjoyed Tony’s book of fiction. I love Lake Chapala and Tony’s descriptions of our area are so vivid and true to life they gave the stories an extra ring of authenticity.

Now, let me quote from Tony’s website to tell you more about him in his own words:

I’ve been a traveler to and within Mexico since 1975, and since 2007 have divided my time between a home on Mexico’s Lake Chapala and one in Dallas, TX.

There’s nothing as stimulating and broadening as wading into another culture and soaking up its sights, sounds, and tastes.  Travel that introduces me to new cultures is my passion, and I’m a travel junkie with a long bucket list of destinations.

Those already checked off include most of Mediterranean Europe and the Caribbean, as well as Mexico, Argentina, and most of the U.S.

I enjoy unescorted tours that take me off the beaten path to create a full immersion experience, and I’ve learned the most by talking to ordinary people who live in these extraordinary places.

I’m a frequent contributor to both Yelp! and TripAdvisor.

My first book, a collection of short stories titled Laguna Tales, was digitally published in April, 2011.  Read more about it here on Amazon.com.

My second book, a novel, is scheduled for publication in the Spring of 2013.

So, now you know who Tony Rambles is. Now here’s why you should care.

For under three bucks you can download Laguna Tales to your Kindle tablet. And, if you don’t yet have a tablet to download great content, now you have another reason to buy one.

All for now. Siempre tu amigo, Sid
