I would like to know the average price of a home in Chapala.

This home if memory serves was listed for approx. $139,000 USD. It has since sold. Great buy, Owners had to sell.

Check out all the area properties by searching for “Chapala Association of Realtors” and checking out the various areas around the North Shore.

There are hundreds of them. Come for a visit and we look at those on your must see list. Tu amigo, Sid

Hi Kenneth. The area of Lake Chapala that most North Americans call home is approximately 30 miles long and extends from the Lake Shore to the Mountains on the North shore. There are hundred and hundreds of homes, They start at $29,000 USD and go up to $13,200,000 USD. Chapala the “City” also will have a very wide price spread. A nice home 2 bed 2 bath home in a nice area will start at about $125,000 and go up from there. Homes here vary significantly one from another and neighborhoods vary a lot from one to the next.

Likewise each town along the North Shore also (30 miles long) has all different types of neighborhoods. I paid $100,000 USD for own 3 bed 3 bath home on a beautiful landscaped large lot with matures fruit trees etc. 10 years ago. Today It could be worth $175,000 since I’ve made improvements etc.

Not trying to evade your question at all. It’s just not helpful to try and calculate and average. It would just be a number with little practical application. Hope this helps. Plan a visit and lets look at homes in various price ranges.

All for now, Tu amigo, Sid
