Hi Everyone,

Do You Have an Itch that You’ve Dreamed of Scratching Someday; Like Living the Good Life in a Safe, Low Cost, Comfortable Climate, but Not Too Far From Home?

Making the plunge is a big decision, but with all the modern information resources available, instant communications, low cost airfare it’s never been easier.

Forget the crime, high prices, and the horrible weather where you may be living now and step just a little out of you usual comfort zone, but not so far out that you feel isolated and cut off from family and friends in the USA or Canada.

Yes, it’s a big decision, but others have already charted the path for you and look forward to sharing their experiences with you. But, it still takes some thought and planning.

I’ve devoted the last decade of my life to helping people just like you find happiness and fulfillment at safe, beautiful and affordable Lake Chapala – Ajijic, Mexico.

I love Mexico and in particular Lake Chapala – Ajijic, Mexico in the Mexican State of Jalisco with our Capital City, Guadalajara near by.  We have most of what you would want right here in our area, but it’s nice to know that a city of 4.4 million people is under an hour drive away for all those things that big cities have that we may want from time to time.

First, it’s a wonderful way to take a great day trip as it’s just an hour’s drive away, to enjoy the art museums, the colonial architecture, the Ballet Folklorico performances,  mall shopping at it’s best, Mariachi Music, and the fantastic shopping at near by Tonala and Tlaquepaque with treasures from all over Mexico.

It’s a  shopper’s dream come true; and if you’re looking for bargains you will love the Central People’s Market in the heart of the old historical district.

No, you DON’T Have to learn Spanish to live at Lake Chapala or bargain at the people’s market…. You get to … and it’s much easier than you might have suspected. A little Spanish goes a long way in our area, because so many shop keepers and businesses have bi lingual people on staff.

A large percentage of folks decide to relocate here once they’ve tried Lake Chapala Ajijic, Mexico, but the traditional wisdom is to rent for 6 months; BEFORE deciding to buy.

I’m a careful person and don’t like taking chances, but I’m open to new adventures (after careful research). It did not take me long to decide to relocate here. I rented for less than 3 months.

So, I want to invite you to do some on site research, but I don’t recommend driving down at first unless you’re experienced in driving in Mexico. It’s not that there’s so much danger because in my experience and research it’s not.

But, since for most folks in the USA and Canada time is at a premium and the drive down can use up a lot of your vacation time and energy, I encourage you to fly into our International Airport (symbol GDL), It’s just a half hour drive on a good highway from Lake Chapala – Ajijic.

Shop on line for the best prices at the discount sites and use the discounts available for seniors if you qualify, but I advise against extremely early or late arrivals and departures unless the discount is substantial.

I’ll be happy to arrange for an English Speaking driver (It might be me) to meet you at the airport  if your flight arrives between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. (a reasonable fee applies)

You should book your B and B or Hotel accommodations in advance over the internet. Feel free to e mail me for recommendations. (no referral fees are accepted).

So, let’s get started on scratching your itch with a check us out vacation today. You can do it, I can help.

You can get started now. Just e mail Sid@ChapalaClub.com
