Hi Everyone,

There are so many reasons why so many people from all the world have chosen to make their home either full or part time at Lake Chapala – Ajijic that’s it’s difficult to summarize them all.

The below quote by

Bernhard Peter Sawatzki Bernhard Peter Sawatzki

posted on You Tube along with the accompanying video gives a great summary in words and video , so I wanted to pass it along to each of you. Here’s what Bernhard has to say.

“Photo Impressions from all walks of experiences a foreigner may make when living on the shores of Lake Chapala. A place, with the second best climate in the world (National Geographic). Set at an altitude of approximately 1,600 m (5,000), a Lake, surrounded by the Sierra Madre Mountains of almost 3,000m (9,000), only 30 minutues away from an International Airport (Guadalajara), makes it for thousands of Canadians and Americans their new home home.
I have been asked many times, why we live here? I hope, the pictures will tell!
If you look for a place to retire or live part time, good weather, a new culture, nice people, this is it!

All for now, Siempre tu amigo, Sid
