Hi Everyone,

Well there’s a lot of fish eating at Lake Chapala – Ajijic but not much catching fish. I know you fishermen reading this are a bit disappointed. But there’s great deep sea fishing all along the coasts of Mexico and of course you’re welcome to wet a line in our Lake but our Lake is fairly shallow and I don’t see many gringo fishermen.  But it’s good to know about two words in Spanish that both mean “fish”, but you use the wiords in very different contexts.

Now, here’s San Juan de la Boca to enlighten us of the two ways to say fish in Spanish and when to use which one in different contexts.

Hope you enjoy San Juan de la Boca’s entertaining lessons as much as I do. Tu amigo, Sid
