A Video Introduction to Chapala, Mexico

September 30, 2014

Hi Everyone, Sid Grosvenor here to brighten up your day with a short video of the “county seat” of our area, the City of Chapala. It’s a small city while Ajijic is a “Village”. Each has it’s good and not so good points, I love both,
but find myself spending more time in Chapala. A bit more Spanish is needed
in Chapala, but North Americans have retired happily in both areas.

They’re only about a 10 minute drive apart and along the way you pass through San Antonio, Tla. another village even smaller than Ajijic which is gaining each year in popularity with North Americans wanting to live in a Mexican Village.

There are many gated and non gated subdivisions throughout the area with nice homes starting just over $100,000 USD and on up to the sky is the limit.

Chapala is the municipal seat of of many lakeside towns. Rich in culture, tradition and a very family orientated place, the tranquility of Chapala will ease your soul.

Chapala is still a favorite weekend and holiday destination for Tapatios, as the people of Guadalajara are known and it has a the largest American Legion post outside of the USA. For now, just sit back and relax and enjoy this short video highlighting a bit of Chapala…. and when you want to know more send me an e mail to Sid@ChapalaClub.com. Tu amigo, Sid
