There are Drones Over Ajijic, Mexico

October 9, 2014

Hi Everyone.

Yes, there are Drones over Ajijic from time to time. You know the model sized radio controlled ones’with an on board video camera attached, just for fun and a different perspective of our beautiful area.

Later in this post you’ll see a video link to ride along on one and get a “Bird’s Eye View” of the still relatively new Malecon at Ajijic, Mexico here at Lake Chapala.

Many North Americans live in and around Ajijic and or one or more of the other popular towns and villages along the North Shore … and there are even a few North Americans who hang their sombreros on the far South side of the Lake where life moves along at an even slower pace.

Spanish is pretty much a must on the South Shore, but of course the more you know the more you will enjoy life on either side of Lake Chapala.

But that being said you will do fine with what ever Spanish you know… even if it’s just “un poco”.

So, no, you don’t “have” to speak Spanish to live here successfully, “you get to”.

But, you may also hear other languages as well, because this area is so lush, beautiful, and affordable with near perfect weather all year long that we’ve attracted retirees from all over the globe.

We have retirees here from the USA, Canada, Scotland, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, Sweden and more.

The primary Ex Pat language is English with all sorts of regional differences from the USA, Canada, the UK, and Australia as well. Talk about a blend of cultures?

This blend just adds more spice to the area. But, one thing that unites all the foreigners here is our love of Mexico and especially Lake Chapala, Mexico.

I have friends here from all of the countries mentioned above, but I still have some empty spaces on my dance card waiting to be filled in from what ever nation you’re from.

But, I warn you… I’m not a very good dancer, but people tell me I’m a very good friend. I do my best to be one. To have a friend, you have to BE A FRIEND.

So, I’d like to be your new best friend here at Lake Chapala – Ajijic Mexico.

Friends help friends. Let me help introduce you to our friendly
area. Come on in … the water’s fine (if a bit low for the moment).

I’ll keep the light on for you. But, for now, enjoy the Drone Ride below. Siempre tu amigo, Sid
