Chapala Club Honors our Vets

November 11, 2014

Hi Everyone,
 photo Legion_zps7896a424.png
Sid Grosvenor here with a a few words to honor our USA Vets on this important day.

If you want to see what’s going on at the local American Legion in Chapala just click this link to their Facebook Page

https://www.facebook.com/AmericanLegionChapalaPost7

I always get friendly welcome at Post 7. I stop by once in a while when I get a craving for old fashion “Biscuits and Gravy” for breakfast which is hard to find elsewhere. Non vets are welcome to visit or join as a non voting member.

As a member you can use check out books in English from ytheir large English language library or sign up for a great massage with the on site massage lady who gives a great message at one of best prices in the area.

As mentioned the small restaurant serves great breakfasts and lunches too at very reasonable prices. Of course there’s a bar as well if you need to wet your whistle and tell a few war stories.

The Legion is sort of the Social hub for North Americans that live in Chapala (the city) like “The Lake Chapala Society is the Social Hob for North Americans living in and around Ajijic.

I love going to both places.

Let’s All Honor Our Men and Women in Uniform today (both active and retired all over the world).

My God Protect them each and Everyone. Tu amigo, Sid
