Hi Everyone.

We have people of all body weights, shapes and sizes here from all over the world. We also have some of the least polluted air.

The great year around weather, lots of outdoor activities, exercise groups all do their part to help us stay as trim as we want.

Being a “health nut” this is important to me, As a result I read a lot of health centered newsletters. Recently in one of them a catchy headline caught
my eye,

“Air Pollution Can Make You Fat”

The article detailed how regular breathing of polluted air can damage, heart, liver, and brain tissue. It even suggested links to Alzheimer’s dementia & Parkinson’s disease.

The article also went into various combinations of low fat diet and high fat diets in combination with breathing polluted air or clean air.

Clean air coupled with low fat diets won out.

I can truthfully say that after living at Lake Chapala for over 10 years I feel better than ever, never been to the doctor for other than preventative therapies…

and oh yes, my current weight is 159 pounds at 5 ft. 8 inches I was an inch taller and 1 pound heavier when I graduated from high school at 18 years old, but before I moved here and began to eat better quality food, breath clear air, and get more exercise I weighed in at 180 pounds.

There’s a lesson in there somewhere.

I know some of our subscribers live here at Lake Chapala already. If you’re in that category, it would be great to hear your thoughts about living here at Lake Chapala Ajijic.

Siempre tu amigo, Sid
