Hi Everyone, One of the very best places to get up to date information
about what’s going on at Lake Chapala – Ajijic is by checking the various bulletin boards around the area. You will find a surprising wealth of information using this method.

The best, most reliable information board is inside the grounds of the Lake Chapala Spciety in Ajijic. I check the board about one a week to stay on top
of things. It’s very well organized and regulated. You must be a member to post
notices or ads on the board.

Check out the short video below to see first hand just how useful this asset can be to buy, sell, see what’s happening and in general be informed.

Let me know what you’d like to know about living, working, and retiring here at safe, beautiful, and affordable Lake Chapala – Ajijic and I’ll do my best to be of help.
All for now, Tu amigo, Sid

Thanks for posting the video Sid. I was glad to see the bulletin board information and especially with the rentals. I will be there in May, rent a room and then check the board for a suitable rental for 4 or 5 months. Very helpful…thanks again Sid.

Hi Karen, Glad the post was helpful. North Americans love it here, We all help each other to integrate into the community. I have an Airport Pickup service.
Send me an e mail to Sid@ChapalaClub.com if you need more info about any aspect of relocating here either full or part time. Tu amigo, Sid

Hi Sid, I certainly will keep your email and will be contacting you I’m sure before I come. Is there somewhere that I can post an add for a summer rental that would reach the winter crowd while they are there? Any websites or info you can provide about a room rental in someone’s home for long or short term would be helpful. Thanks Sid, Karen

Hi Karen, You should have little problem finding a suitable rental when you arrive since our high rental season is in the winter months.

Many homes here have “Casitas” (guest houses) which some folks rent out.

You could also place your own ad on local bulletin boards to find
a good place. Agencies for the type of rental you’re looking for would be of little use. All for now, Tu amigo, Sid
