Well, today is St Pat’s Day, when they say that “All the world is Irish”.
The origin of the day is to from the Feast of St. Patrick which originally a religious holiday and now has evolved into a cultural celebration. Celebrated on March 17 each year. St Patrick lived from 385 to 461 A.D.
So let’s begin the celebration. In honor of St. Paddy let me share a few facts and figures about the day with you.

Please read to the end and watch the video a little St. Pat’s Day Fun.
But first, did you know that Mexicans and their Irish ancestors both had traditions of earth and sun-worshipping? Another connection of the two people’s is their strong beliefs about family, their
love of celebrations and their predominantly Catholic faith.

Mexicans have their own little people which are called, the hadas and duendas.
Both cultures see the past in the present. Both cultures celebrate death as well as the afterlife. Both believe in living today and living life in general to its fullest.
Another tidbit is that the name of a Mexican Revolution leader and past president of Mexico was named, Alvaro Obregón.
The name “Obregón” came from the Irish name “O’Brien.”
OK, enough history for now. Let’s take a cue from our Irish friends and have a little Irish fun. Siempre tu amigo, Sid
