Everyone Loves a Parade… Especially in Lake Chapala – Ajijic

Hi Everyone,  When I grew up in Dallas one of my fondest memories were of the parades like when the circus came to town or on many of the main holidays , Well you can be a kid again, and even interact with the folks in the parade. Mexican people here love parties and a parade is much like a moving party.

Watch the below video of a recent parade in Ajijic. A common form of interaction is for parade participants to throw small amounts of baking powder and parade watchers.  Oh, “Gringos” are not exempt, so if you don’t want a face full of flour turn and duck away.
