Hi Everyone,

Hope you’re doing well. I continue to love my life here and still delight in introducing our area to folks from all over the world.

It’s a true international area, I have lots of gringo friends, Mexican friends (and family), Canadian friends, Korean, German, Hungarian, and more. You know when folks find a good thing they like to share it. So, each year, we gain more folks … but don’t worry, we’ve not spoiled it for you.

You see we’ve keep the charm intact along with the low prices, and we run off anyone who wants to turn the place into USA/Canada South. We truly enjoy the best of both worlds (As many or as few English speaking friends as you want (and have escaped the negatives like, high prices, horrible weather, rude clerks and (fill in the blank) that you may find in the USA or Canada).

Just a few days ago my wife and  a lady friend of ours from Honduras and I all went to a recent performance of the Ballet Folklorico in Ajijic. It was great as always. Our seats were not the best for filming this year,  but I wanted to share the splendor of the Ballet Folklorico with you so I’ve included below a video of one of the many folklorico dance performances held on Sundays in Guadalajara. Other than a larger venue our performances here are just as good, if less frequent.

Just scroll down and click on the video.

I hope you enjoy it. Tu amigo, Sid
