How Are You Doing with Your New Year’s Resolutions?

January 19, 2016

Hi Everyone, Well, we’re a couple of weeks into the New Year so I thought I’d check in with you to see how you’re doing on any New Year’s Resolutions you’ve made.

In a recent post I suggested that you join me in a resolution to learn more Spanish to enrich your life, add some extra brain power (Who couldn’t use more of that, right?) and save even more here at Lake Chapala-Ajijic, Mexico.

When people ask me if they “Have to learn Spanish to live here? My response is always the same, NO, you don’t HAVE to learn Spanish to live here quite well. YOY GET TO !

I speak basic Spanish and it’s enriched my life. My Mexican wife speaks basic English so I have an extra incentive.  You will find that it’s not that hard to get functional in the language. You will save even more money since you will be able to shop at the stores where no English is spoken, eat at the restaurants where no English is spoken and just plain enjoy the culture all the more. You can do it.

If I can do it in my 70′s surely you can too.  It need not be a chore, but can be fun and enriching with the right course/teacher and some effort on your part.

The abosolute best course I’ve found is “Synergistic Spanish”.. and the best  of the various classes available I think are the video classes.

Click the following link and soon you too will be speaking Spanish too.

OK here’s the link, Siempre tu Amigo, Sid
